You tell us about your reader — their age, what they love, what they’re curious about. Our children’s librarians hand-pick a stack of wonderful books and deliver them to your door in a reusable Libroo box. When you’re done reading, pop them back in the box, schedule a free pickup, and we’ll swap them for fresh titles.

We cater to children from birth to 12 years old. Our librarians curate separate stacks for early readers (0–3), picture book explorers (3–6), emerging readers (6–8), middle-grade adventurers (8–10), and pre-teens (10–12). Each stack is tailored to the child’s reading level and interests.

Every delivery includes 4–6 hand-picked books, depending on the plan you choose. Our standard plan delivers 4 books per box, and our extended plan delivers 6. You can switch plans anytime from your dashboard.

Returns are free and easy. When you’re finished with your stack, place the books back in the Libroo box, seal it with the included return label, and schedule a pickup through your dashboard. We’ll collect the box from your doorstep and bring you a fresh one.

Accidents happen — we get it. Minor wear and tear is completely normal and expected. If a book is significantly damaged or lost, we ask for a small replacement fee so we can keep our library well-stocked for everyone. We’ll never charge for honest toddler love.

You can! While our librarians curate every stack based on your reader’s profile, you can also browse our library and add specific titles to your child’s wish list. We’ll do our best to include them in future deliveries. Think of it as a collaboration between you, your child, and a real librarian.

Our standard plan starts at $19.99/month for 4 books, and our extended plan is $29.99/month for 6 books. Both include free delivery, free returns, and unlimited swaps. No late fees, no hidden charges, no commitments.

Absolutely. There are no long-term commitments. You can pause your subscription from your dashboard whenever you need a break — going on holiday, holiday gift overload, whatever the reason. You can cancel anytime with one click. No questions asked.

We deliver within 2–4 business days across our service areas. You’ll receive a tracking link as soon as your box ships so you know exactly when to expect it. Return pickups are equally fast.

We currently deliver across the continental United States. We’re expanding to new regions regularly — if you’re outside our coverage area, join the waitlist and we’ll let you know when we arrive.

Every book in our library is chosen by real children’s librarians and early literacy specialists. We look for diverse characters, rich language, beautiful illustration, and stories that spark curiosity. No worksheets, no screens — just great books that make kids fall in love with reading.

Libroo is a lending library, not a bookshop. The books live with you as long as you’re reading them, then travel on to the next little reader. It’s better for your wallet, better for your shelf space, and better for the planet.
