A library at your doorstep
Every 28 days, we hand-pick 12 books around your child’s age and interests. Choose your favourites, read them together for four weeks, then swap them for something new.

How Libroo works
Every 28 days, we curate a fresh selection around your child. You choose what to borrow, enjoy them together, then return them when you’re ready for something new.
01 · Curate
We hand-pick 12 books based on your child's age, interests and reading journey.
02 · Read
Choose 4, 8 or all 12 books, then enjoy them together for the next 28 days.
03 · Refresh
We collect your books and bring you a fresh selection for the next 28 days.
Love one too much to return it? You can keep selected favourites for an additional fee.
Tell us what your child loves, and we’ll create a personalised selection just for them.

A peek into our library
Why reading matters
Reading together helps children build language skills, confidence, connection and a lifelong love of books.
Nearly 3× more interest in reading
A 2003 study found that providing a steady stream of new, age-appropriate books was associated with nearly triple the interest in reading within months.
20 minutes a day adds up
Just 20 minutes of reading a day can add up to millions of words encountered over a year.
92% say storytime is special
92% of parents say reading aloud is or was a special time with their child.
Skills that last
Shared reading supports language, literacy and social-emotional development that can benefit children as they grow.
Regular reading with young children also supports healthy patterns of brain development and strengthens parent-child relationships.
A note from the founders
A bibliophile mum and a Montessori teacher grandmother.
We're a book-loving mum and a Montessori teacher grandmother who started Libroo with one simple goal: to help families spend more time reading together.
Through thoughtfully curated book deliveries every 28 days, we make it easier to build a joyful reading habit at home. We believe deeply in the lasting impact of sharing books with a child, and that it's never too early or too late to begin.
We're so happy you're here, and we can't wait to hear what you think.

A dashboard just for parents
Every book they finish helps build their profile, from their interests to the kinds of books they enjoy, so you can watch their reading journey grow over time. See what your child gravitates towards and discover how their reading interests evolve over time.

Got questions?
Our library has 500+ carefully selected children's books, and we believe in quality over quantity.
We spend hours researching and selecting books before they make it onto the Libroo bookshelf. We look for stories with engaging content, thoughtful themes and beautiful illustrations that children will enjoy and parents will feel good about reading with them.
Rather than overwhelming you with thousands of options, we focus on building a well-curated library of books that we genuinely recommend.
Getting started is simple.
Create your account and tell us a little about your child, their age, interests and reading preferences. We'll then recommend 12 books we think they'll enjoy.
Choose 4, 8 or 12 books, depending on your Libroo plan, and check out.
Your books will be delivered on the coming Friday and are yours to enjoy for four weeks.
At the end of the four weeks, we'll collect your books on Friday and, if you've chosen your next set, deliver your new books at the same time.
One Friday swap. Fresh books for another four weeks.
Not at all.
Your 12 recommendations are simply a starting point based on your child's age and interests.
If you don't find what you're looking for, you can browse our full library and choose books yourself.
And if you'd like some help, just send us a message. Tell us what your child enjoys, what they're currently interested in or even something you'd like to help them with, and we'll get in touch over WhatsApp with personalised recommendations.
Absolutely.
Personal curation is an important part of Libroo.
Maybe your child loves dinosaurs, vehicles or princesses. Perhaps they're starting school, becoming a sibling, learning about feelings or beginning to read independently.
Tell us what you're looking for and we'll personally help you find books that suit your child.
Real recommendations from people who love children's books, not just an algorithm.
When you create your child's profile, we'll ask about their age and interests.
We use this information to recommend 12 books from our curated library that we think they'll enjoy.
And because children's interests change quickly, you're never locked into those recommendations. You can browse the full library or ask us for personalised help whenever you'd like.
Yes.
Libroo is about family reading time, so you don't need a separate account or plan for each child.
You can choose books for multiple children within your Libroo plan, for example, a few picture books for a younger child and some more advanced books for an older sibling.
Libroo deliveries take place on Fridays.
Once you choose your books and complete checkout, we'll confirm your upcoming Friday delivery date.
You can then keep your books for four weeks, with collection taking place on the fourth Friday.
If you've chosen your next set of books, we'll collect your current books and deliver your new ones during the same Friday swap.
We'll remind you one week before your books are due back.
We recommend choosing your next set by Wednesday so we have plenty of time to prepare everything for your Friday swap.
If you complete your next order by Thursday before your Friday collection, you'll also receive AED 5 off your next order.
We'll remind you before your return date.
On the fourth Friday, we'll collect your current Libroo books.
If you've already chosen your next set, we'll bring those along at the same time, so there's no gap in your reading.
Old books out. New stories in.
Delivery depends on the plan you choose.
Your applicable delivery charge will always be shown clearly before you check out.
Sometimes a borrowed book becomes the book, and your child simply doesn't want to give it back.
That's absolutely fine.
Go to My Books in your Libroo account, find the book you've borrowed and select Keep This Book.
You'll be able to pay the additional amount shown and, once payment is complete, the book is yours to keep. We simply won't collect it during your next Libroo return.
Books borrowed by children are going to look like they've been read, and that's okay.
We expect reasonable wear and tear, such as slightly softened corners or the normal signs of a well-loved book.
We would only charge you where a book has been damaged to the point that we can no longer lend it to another family, such as significant writing, missing pages or serious damage.
If that happens, we'll ask you to pay the applicable book amount and the book will then be yours to keep.
Libroo is a shared library, so some books may have already been enjoyed by another Libroo family.
Before a book goes into another child's pack, we check that it is in suitable condition to be borrowed and enjoyed again.
Our aim is simple: every book should arrive ready to be read, loved and shared with the next family.
